China Business Awards 2007

This year's China Business Awards were presented by His Excellency Mr Zha Peixin, Chinese Ambassador and the Rt Hon Jack Straw MP, Leader of the House of Commons, at the Icebreakers Chinese New Year Dinner on 15 February 2007 at the Guildhall in London.

UK Exporter of the Year Award 2007 – awarded to Arup for demonstrating the utmost energy, novelty, patience and persistence, in the field of exports from UK to China during the year.

Chinese Inward Investor of the Year 2007 – awarded to China Telecom (UK) Ltd, for their contribution to both the British and Chinese economies in terms of employment created, technical and marketing innovation, financial structuring, potential for growth, long term sustainability, and model for Sino-UK partnership.

UK Outward Investor of the Year 2007 – awarded to Astra Zeneca, for their outstanding performance in outward investment in China.
